Product Information.
This santoku was hand forged here in Colorado Springs by Excalibur Outdoors. The knife was designed by Matt Waters of Waters Forge and executed by Max Harder of Excalibur Outdoors. Both to these talented blade smiths have competed on History Channel's epic show Forged In Fire.
The carbon steel blade is forged from 80CRV steel. The handle is ironwood. This knife is ready to chop and slice veggies for the rest of your life!
This knife definitely qualifies as functional art.
